BROADCAST
A natural on-screen presence and two decades of experience translating complex social issues into accessible, emotionally resonant stories.
Yasmin Khan is a skilled broadcaster and presenter who brings warmth, intelligence, and depth to the screen and airwaves. She has appeared on major networks including BBC, Netflix, PBS, ITV and Channel 4, reaching audiences across the world.
Her on screen work combines emotional intelligence with journalistic rigour, drawing out the human stories behind the headlines. From fronting documentaries and travel-led series to contributing to in-depth current affairs discussions, Yasmin’s broadcasting often centres voices left out of mainstream narratives.
She was featured in the Netflix documentary Attack on London: Hunting the 7/7 Bombers, has presented for BBC Radio 4’s The Food Programme, and was the host of the Waitrose podcast Life on a Plate. She is a regular commentator across BBC Radio appearing on programmes such as Woman’s Hour, Today, Broadcasting House, One to One and A Good Read, and a frequent contributor to UK TV food programmes such as Gordon Ramsay’s Future Food Stars, Nadiya Hussain’s Simple Spices and Nigel Slater’s Eating Together. She is particularly experienced at live current-affairs formats such as Newsnight, The NewsAgents, Channel 4 news, Jeremy Vine on 5 and NPR’s Morning Edition.
With a natural on-screen presence and two decades of experience translating complex social issues into accessible, emotionally resonant stories, Yasmin continues to develop new broadcast projects, especially around food, migration, identity, motherhood and belonging.
